Alopecia Support County Durham are a growing support group for ladies aged 16 years and over who have been diagnosed with Alopecia.  The meetings are held at Pioneering Care Centre and offer support, advice and tips based on the members own experiences. We also provide activities and to help members feel good and rebuild their confidence. The group would like to offer huge thanks to Karen Hughes of Sparkilicious for providing a colour me beautiful session to help us look our best last Christmas.  We would also like to thank Tricia Stewart and Deborah for volunteering their time to provide a belly dancing lesson for our Christmas party, we had a ball! During our first meeting of 2017 we experienced a sound bath, provided by Jane Ford-Farrand of Sound Affects which helped us relax through various sound vibrations. Future meetings this year include 26th April – hydrotherapy pool session, 28th June – glass decorating, 30th August – pilates and 25th October – massage tasters. Our Christmas celebration will be held on the 20th December where family members are also welcome to thank them for all the emotional support they provide throughout the year. Meetings are held 7-9pm but for more information please call 07933 030 290 or email alopeciafriendscodurham@outlook.com
