On Friday 29th March I attended the “Soulful Sounds of Shanaya 2”. After attending the first one, I had no intention of missing No 2.
What a night – I went along with my family and friends to support such amazing charities and Shanaya has a superb voice and her Mum Belinda, who I know well from Sugar Hill Primary School, is a fantastic friend who comes into her own when caring, sharing and organising.
It is great to see such a young talented person willing to give to charity and her local community. Shanaya certainly follows in Mum Belinda’s footsteps.
I hope Shanaya continues to follow her dreams, she is an inspiration to young people and the people of Newton Aycliffe.
Thank you for a wonderful worthwhile evening.
