Town Councillors Ken Robson (right) and Cllr Arun Chandran are trying to obtain the former Elmfield School site from Durham County Council as an annexe to West Park. This vast piece of land has stood undeveloped for almost 20 years. The subject is on the agenda for next Wednesday’s Recreation Meeting at 7.15pm. Members of the public can attend.
