A series of led walks are taking place across County Durham and it is a chance to get out and about and find out more about walks in your local area.
The short walks are also a popular way for people to take their first steps in improving their health and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
On Walk4Life Day, there is a choice of 30, 60 or 90 minute long walks at the following locations:
• Derwentside; Blackhill Lodge in Consett
• Durham and Chester-le-Street; County Hall in Durham City
• Easington; Peterlee Pavilion
• Sedgefield; Pioneering Care Partnership in Newton Aycliffe
• Durham Dales; Bishop Auckland Town Hall
Each event will begin at 10am with walks taking place from 10.30am.

Registration is required to take part in the Walk4Life events and completed registration forms need to be brought along at each event. Group bookings are also available.
