Greenfield Arts are delighted to announce their new studio sessions for the spring season.
The sessions include three creative strands including digital photography, lino print making and jewellery making.
Why not learn something new and join professional photographer Elaine Vizor for the first of our series and improve your camera skills? Elaine will be leading the first digital photography session on Thursday 24th January from 10:30– 14:00.
In this session you can learn more about black and white photography and the skills of depth of field. This is an exciting opportunity to help you get started or hone your present skills. The workshops cost just £25.00 per session and are a great opportunity to learn more about how to get the best from your camera and enjoy getting creative.
In February we are offering the opportunity to make your own beautiful piece of jewellery, you can choose to create a unique pendant or earrings with expert guidance from jewellery maker Lindsay Peter. The session will be held on Thursday 21st February from 10:30 – 14:30 and will involve a technique called ‘soutache’ which uses cord and embroidering. The cost including materials is £50:00 for the session and you will be able to create something special to take home.
Our popular lino-print making session will be held on Thursday 28th February from 10:30 – 16:30 where you can learn print skills with artists Alan and Helen Holcroft. The session is suitable for beginners and no drawing skills are required. Please contact Helen directly on helholcroft@gmail.com to book you place.
