Description of Business: AK Brewster started business in 1982 and is the longest trading independent garage on Aycliffe Business Park.
Tony, the owner, lives with his wife and two daughters in Newton Aycliffe and is a keen tropical and pond fishkeeper and gardener.
Tony has two long serving employees Jonathan and Matthew. Jonathan joined the business straight from school 21 years ago and Matthew started as an apprentice after a work experience placement from school 18 years ago.
Tyler came to us a year ago through a County Durham Community Foundation Grant as an apprentice.
AK Brewster has invested heavily in both the training of staff and the purchase of new equipment to ensure the most up to date working practices are used.
