Our next meeting is Wednesday 2nd March starting at 6pm with refreshments at 5.45. at Greenfield Arts Centre. Hopefully we will have local Police, livin and Councillors in attendance. Our meetings are a great way of meeting like minded people wanting to make a difference to our local neighbourhoods. At our last meeting we had a good turn out where the Police reported that anti-social-behaviour had dropped by 53% on the previous month. 2 males have been arrested in connection with burglaries across the County including some in Newton Aycliffe. They also reported ongoing problems with of road motor vehicles riding on footpaths, grassed areas and on the road without lights across the whole of the town, they request if you know who is responsible contact them which can be anonymously.

David Sutton Lloyd from Woodham Community Centre updated us on his project to install Defibrillators in parts of the town. He has successfully raised £20,000 and is now looking for volunteers to complete training in how use the machines and ultimately save a life. If you are interested David can be contacted by email Woodham.community@gmail.com. We finished our meeting with a great presentation by Well Being For Life who explained what and how their services help individuals and groups with physical and mental wellbeing. It could be exercise or healthy cooking, shopping and much more. We have some seats on our trip to the Great North Museum/ Hancock, £5 each ring martin on 316148 for details.
