Popular resident’s association ACORN has been inundated with applications for seats on their forthcoming trip to Scarborough so have decided to take another bus. The outing will take place on August 12th and leaves the Phoenix Club, Macmillan Road at 9am. Anyone wishing to book a place should contact Ken Robson on 01325 321471. ACORN is a fun-loving community group, supported by the Big Lottery fund, who organise Fun days, Halloween Parties, Panto visits and coach trips for the whole community. Although not a necessity you can join us at our meetings held in the upstairs lounge of the Phoenix Club to help us plan events and tours.
