Tradeglass UK LTD has continued to grow over the past year, and after successfully working with apprentices for many years we are delighted that Joe Bulman is joining us as an Apprentice Business Administrator. Helping young people to develop their skills is a responsibility Tradeglass takes seriously, not only for our apprentices but also the business, as it allows them to build their careers whilst becoming an essential member of the team, giving them a great understanding of what we do. Some of our apprentices go on to stay with us after they’ve completed their training.

Although he’s only been with us for several weeks, Joe is already finding enough to keep him busy, starting to undertake coordination duties such as ordering stocking and arranging plant hire. As he gains more knowledge and experience, he will start developing CAD drawings and continue working with the wider team.

When asked why he decided to apply for an apprenticeship at Tradeglass, Joe said “After a long search for an apprenticeship, Tradeglass really stood out. The chance to work hands-on as a coordinator, along with the education provided at ITEC and a competitive starting salary made me realise this could be the path I sought to kick-start my career.”

Joe will spend two days a month at ITEC, Newton Aycliffe. His formal qualification will take two years. One of the reasons that Joe chose Tradeglass was that he’s always had a passion for business administration & drawing, and this role offered him a great mix of both. He enjoys getting stuck in and prefers learning as he goes to traditional classroom settings. He’s focusing on becoming a qualified business administrator and developing his career from there.

Joe said “Everyone is amazingly helpful, welcoming and professional. The transition to an apprenticeship was a daunting thought, but my new colleagues have made it very easy to deal with. The work is a lot to take in at first, but you soon pick it up and any questions I have are soon answered”.

We are really pleased to welcome Joe to the team and support him and he undertakes his apprenticeship.
