Town Centre Clean Up
Dear Sir,
Can I extend a huge thank you to Dean and the gang from Newton Aycliffe Leisure Centre for cleaning up, brightening up and making it a more pleasant experience to enter the town centre through the Beveridge Parade which runs between the Leisure Centre and the ex-Bon Marche shop. It has made a massive difference to the way the town centre looks.
As of late, the arcade was looking tired, dismal, dark and downright unloved, whereas now it looks amazing, and I can’t wait to see who is to rent the shop in the future. So, once again thanks to all concerned in turning a blight spot into a bright spot.
What do you know, our town centre may be turning a corner with new shops opening and looking better than it has for some time, let’s hope things are on the up.
