Greenfield Arts are thrilled to welcome textile artist Helen Lane to The Greenfield Gallery.
Helen’s exhibition will explore themes of observation whilst walking and appreciating nature. The exhibition will be inspired by the route from her home near Birmingham to Greenfield Arts Centre in Newton Aycliffe.
‘Walking the Lanes: A Journey of Mark Making in Stitch and Print’ will inspire a collection of artwork using printing and stitch with natural dyes. We are excited to see the collection come together and share the experience with our community.
There will be a special preview for the exhibition will be held on Wednesday 10 May from 18:00 to 20:00 and this is open to the public. The exhibition will then run until Wednesday 21 June 2023.
