Over £1,440 raised to support children with Down syndrome.
The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) would like to thank supporters for granting Christmas wishes, following a successful festive fundraising campaign for its Together 21 project.
PCP’s Christmas Fair took place on Saturday 10th December, with Together 21 fundraising with kindly gifted donations from local organisations and supporters.
Sandra Roberts, Governance and Development Manager, said: “We’d like to thank organisations and individuals for their ongoing support for Together 21 and the children, young people and families we support.
“These funds enable PCP to help the children and families connect and build a network of individuals that can provide vital peer support and friendship. The project also helps children with Down Syndrome to develop essential skills that will equip them to meet the future with confidence.”
Together 21 supports children and families from across the North East and North Yorkshire, by delivering weekly, age-appropriate sessions to promote a range of skills. Families attend with children enabling them to continue development at home.
PCP would like to thank Newton Press, Newton Aycliffe Tesco, Tynemouth Aquarium, The Moveable Feast, Vertu Durham Motors, Hewitt’s Solicitors, The Beauty Closet, Loutopia Fudge, Beamish Museum, Dun Cow Inn, Deep Kneads Therapy, Bill Mayhew Guardian Gates Ltd., W. Alderson and Sons Family Butchers, Whitegates Nursery, Scentsy and DMA Law plus a host of private donators who made this fundraising possible.
