Now the clocks will soon be changed and
our wardrobes rearranged.
Hats, scarves, and thick coats too, as winter
now comes into view.
Oh winter, please this year be kind,
Some hard frost we don’t mind,
To get on top of all the bugs,
While hot soups we sip from favourite mugs.
The festive season will soon come round,
And excited children will be found,
Looking for that naughty elf,
The one who cleverly hides himself.
Every night in a different place,
Children seek his cheeky face.
We pray the joy of Christmas time,
From their innocent eyes will always shine.
