Vane Road School are repeating their popular Lumiere event on Thursday 28th January from 5.15 to 6.15.
All children have contributed work which will be displayed and suitable illuminated. This year the school received some funding from the Microbiology Society and Year 6 have worked with a scientist and a willow artist to find out more about luminescent bacteria in angler fish and their work will be displayed at the event.
The finale includes an exciting fire act and there will also be an illuminated stilt walker. Refreshments are for sale and glow items priced from 50p to £3.50.
Entrance is 50p for adults with free admission for children. Tickets can be purchased from the school office on just pay on the gate at the event.
