The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) is hosting the ultimate scavenger hunt on wheels this month and there’s still places available to take part.
‘Ride and Seek’ is one of the charity’s newest challenges and gives people the opportunity to explore locations across the region while hunting for the answers to clues.
Participants can choose to take to the road on either a motorbike or car, and entry costs £20 per vehicle including breakfast.
The event will take place on Sunday 25th June, starting and ending at the charity’s headquarters on Urlay Nook Road, Eaglescliffe, TS16 0QB.
Breakfast will be served at 9.30am before participants head out onto the road with a treasure map to find as many clues as possible.
The more answers to clues you find, the more points you receive, but some clues are worth more points than others.
Tracey Wright, events lead at GNAAS, said: “We’re so excited to host our first scavenger hunt on wheels and see everyone unleash their competitive spirit. There’s no specific route, so bike and car enthusiasts can choose where to ride and enjoy a day discovering the region’s beauty and visiting local businesses. At the end of the day, we’ll be announcing the winners at our HQ and a special prize will be given to the person who collects the most points.”
