Newton Aycliffe Rotary President Nora Scott this week faced one of the most challenging duties of her year so far when she inducted the club’s latest member.
Technical and tooling manager Gary Blenkinsopp of School Aycliffe is so much taller than Nora that she had the greatest trouble pinning on his Rotary lapel badge. When she finally managed it, Nora earned a round of applause from members.
Gary became the fourth new member to be inducted into the Newton Aycliffe club within the past month.
