On Monday 14th October, the afternoon children of Sugar Hill Nursery, had an enjoyable time planting bulbs in the community. The project organised by Steve Cooper Environmental Officer for GATC in association with Newton Aycliffe Children’s Centre enabled children to plant flowering bulbs at Seven Oaks a newly acquired council site.
Although the weather wasn’t ideal for planting, fun was had by all. Sugar Hill Nursery would like to say many thanks to the organisers and the parents who volunteered their time. We can’t wait to return in the Spring to see how much our flowers have grown.
