A local company and their volunteers are aiming to tidy up the town, with the launch of their graffiti removal services. The “More Time” graffiti wagon has been based at the company’s Hull office since 2011, but volunteers felt there would be a bigger demand for its use in County Durham.
More Time UK Ltd, based on Horndale Avenue in Newton Aycliffe, is a wholly owned trading subsidiary of DISC, whose main objective is to create employment pathways for people who may struggle to access mainstream employment.
The company offer a range of services, from commercial and new-build cleans, to facilities management and empty homes projects. It also oversees the DISC Furniture Scheme, providing affordable furniture to those on low income or others looking for upcycling projects, as well as the “More Time Cafe” & catering.
Business Manager, Julie Nisbet, said “Our graffiti wagon is a self-contained unit with a high pressure washer, with the ability to clean out buildings, brickwork and driveways, as well as tackle graffiti.
Our volunteers are highly skilled with an excellent work ethic. They’re passionate about the work of More Time, and the opportunities it opens up for the future.”
The company and its staff pride themselves on offering a flexible service with a consistently high quality of work.
