Co-ordination of Aid for Needy
The Inaugural Meeting of GACAP – Great Aycliffe Community Aid Partnership is on Monday 9th December at the Disc Furniture Showroom and Cafe premises at the Blue Bridge Centre commencing 7pm. (Turn first right on Horndale Avenue and make your way towards the end of the road next to the Blue Bridge itself).
The final steering group meeting is on the 2nd December to approve the final docments necessary to constitute this new organisation which will co-ordinate help for needy people to ensure everyone in crisis receives assistance immediately.
Each partner will refer and signpost people to the right source for help whether it be food, household goods, professional advice or information on any aspect of welfare.
GACAP’s structure co-ordinates help for needy families in our area, bringing together all those people who are providing assistance. By co-operation they will become more effective and cover the increasing demand.
Anyoner interested in these aims including prospective partners and volunteers are invited to the Inaugural Meeting.

GACAP wish to enlist all organisations working with people disadvantaged by health, poverty and crisis. It is important every aspect of welfare is covered by this partnership so that a comprehensive service is made available quickly and efficiently to prevent unnecessary suffering.
