A first for Five Acres Community Garden… last week we embarked on our first overnight residential break away to Whitby. Four Champions and Staff travelled over the moors to a beautiful Lodge and spent two days looking round the historic seaside town.
We visited the Abbey, The Whitby Jet Museum, had a sea cruise on the Black Pearl, played crazy golf, bought some kippers from Fortunes, had Fish & Chips at Hadley’s Restaurant, Ice Cream and a Pint in the Abbey Wharf. Our Champions thoroughly enjoyed themselves and can’t wait for the next trip – A fabulous two days in a great location.
