19 year old local girl Ebony Leach has organised a Christmas Fair at Shildon Sunnydale Leisure Centre, in her free time, whilst studying at Cleveland College. The fair is on Saturday 9th November from 11am until 4pm.
You will find over 60 stalls all held by local businesses most of which you will have never seen before. Theses stalls are perfect for buying unique Christmas and birthday presents or even gorgeous little treats for yourself.
Ebony is holding a grand raffle to raise money for the Sturge Weber foundation. She first heard of this charity from an appeal to help a little girl from Newton Aycliffe. Ebony contacted the little girl’s mother via facebook to con tact the charity. She then found out the lady makes handmade cards, gifts and jewellery which she  is selling at the fair and is offering lots of help with the fund raising.
Sturge Weber UK is a voluntary run charity which aims to raise awareness of the rare neurological condition Sturge Weber Syndrome within both the medical profession and the general public. The charity provides support and informationn to those affected and their families
All funds raised from the raffle will be used to support the work of Sturge Weber UK.
We are still have some spaces available for local people who wish to attend the fair to sell and promote their business, if you are interested please contact Ebony at EbonysHandMadeGifts@hotmail.com or 07403 304524.   ADMISSION IS FREE
