On Wednesday 18th January, the children at Byerley Park Primary School enjoyed a fantastic ‘Escape Room’ experience. This was delivered by Ebony from Go Well. Each class were set timed escape room tasks that they had to work together to solve. A proven favourite was ‘Scooby Snacks’, where groups of children had to stack tennis rackets and balls and transport them successfully across the hall in a given time. The final challenge was to break the code on a padlock, using hidden numbers around the hall, to reveal a certificate for managing to escape!
All of the children experienced some very tricky tasks throughout the day. It was fantastic to see the problem solving and effective communication they demonstrated and most importantly, how much fun they were all having.
