Aycliffe Town Centre management, in conjunction with Aycliffe Radio, are proud to present a day to celebrate our emergency services, called ‘Blue Light Day’, which will take place on Saturday 23rd July from 11am to 3pm.
In attendance on the day will be the local police beat team, the PCSOs, Police Dogs, Police Driving Simulator, Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Blood Bikes, 1407 Air Cadets, 102 Battalion REME, Co. Durham & Darlington NHS Trust, Veterans Hub, Humankind, Newtonian Vintage Bus, Kiddies Fairground, Face Painter and, of course, the whippy ice cream van.
Our MP, Paul Howell, will also have a stall for residents to come along, discuss and talk with him. You can also take the opportunity to meet our local Police Crime Commissioner, Joy Allen.
As always, Aycliffe Radio will be playing music and entertainment on the day will be provided by Infinity Dance Co, O’Hehir Irish Dance School and Silver Swans Ballet.
