Adam Billany aged 13 from Woodham has been nominated for an Achievement in Sport Award from Carmel College. He is passionate about football and despite having mild cerebral palsy took a trial and was accepted into North East Centre of Excellence squad where he trains every Saturday.
Adam has a consistent academic record and enjoys swimming and sailing.
His Form Tutor describes Adam as a lovely student with a cheery disposition, conscientious and modest. The nomination states “Adam is a real inspiration to others and his success deserves public recognition”.
