Runners are reminded that they can take part in a 5k trail race inCountyDurhamnext week.
The event, being organised by Durham County Council’s sport and leisure service, will take place on Wednesday (July 25) atHardwickPark, near Sedgefield, at 6.45pm.
There is no need to pre-book and participants are invited to come along and register on the night from 6pm.
The race costs £3 to enter and entrants must be aged 16 or over. Those under 18 will need a parent or guardian to sign their registration form.
The HardwickParkevent is the second of three 5k trail races which are being organised by Durham County Council, with support from Run England and A1 MultiSport.co.uk.
The previous trail race took part in Chester-le-Street on May 23 and the third and final race will take place on Wednesday, August 29 atHamsterleyForest, starting from The Grove car park (signposted off the A68 north ofWest Auckland– OS grid ref NZ 09 13 12).
