A fantastic event was held in The Big Club on Saturday night with the attendance of about 300 people who helped to raise over £1000 for Newton Aycliffe Mind.
The evening was sponsored by Trident Taxis we would like to say a massive thank you to Andrew for his generosity.
We were all entertained superbly with The Unsound a brilliant rock band and also Nemesis, Dorian, Libbi, Hannah, Holly, The Buskees, Emma and Sophie. They all played to the packed house with boundless energy. Nemesis Allstar Cheerleaders put on a fantastic display with breath-taking lifts and dancing.
All of these are young people from the town, we should be very proud to have such talent.

Finally the bigest thanks go to all who attended on the evening, for giving their support towards such a worthwhile cause. Newton Aycliffe MIND is continuing to go from strength to strength despite the current economic crisis, funding is a major problem for every charity these days so we rely on the support and generosity of the community to allow us to continue with our much needed and valued service.
