Greenfield Arts are proud to welcome new members to their creative digital hub ‘The Shed’.  Talented participants from the recent ‘Core Arts’ course made excellent progress throughout the ten week activity which resulted in a complimentary shed induction, normally worth £80, led by digital design expert Rebecca Hayman, where all involved were able to produce mugs and bags boasting their very own fabulous designs. The course offered participants a rounded understanding of three artistic skills including photography, drawing and digital design focusing on both the individual elements and more importantly how they can interconnect to produce an impressive portfolio of work.

Sophie Lewis, Centre Co-ordinator was thrilled with the results, “it has been great to see the connection between the elements come together to realise such fantastic work, it’s a testament to our tutors and the creativity of the participants” said Sophie. Our new Community Learning Programme is now available on our website and includes some exciting opportunities to get creative and learn new skills.  The Summer term will see the return of our popular favourites such as Spanish tuition, relaxing Yoga and Floral Art alongside our new Creative Forum, in which we invite creatives to join together and learn from one another with guidance from professional artist Sharron Bates. We also have some wonderful masterclasses on offer, including creative writing and wax batik, along with regular sewing group and more creative opportunities.
