On Wednesday 14th May Woodham Academy will be holding its first dance showcase. The showcase will include performances from Woodham Dance Academy, Woodham lunchtime dance club, Woodham Gymnastics Academy; Woodham lunchtime gymnastics academy and year 10 GCSE dance students. The pieces will be those that the students have been working on throughout the year, some of which have been used in other performances and some towards GCSE assessments. Some of the dances have been choreographed by teachers both from Woodham Academy and from Joanne Banks Dance School, who have been working with students in the Dance Academy.
However, a lot of the work has been choreographed by the students themselves. It should be a fantastic evening and a perfect way to celebrate student success and hard work throughout the year. Tickets are available from Woodham Academy 01325 300328.
