Woodham Burn Primary School have yet again gained a 5* score for their food hygiene rating. There are four food hygiene ratings – 5 being the top one.
Mrs Edwards, Head Teacher said “Our school was inspected by environmental health and I am proud that yet again we have been awarded the top rating. We have robust controls in place to ensure our food safety standards are the very best possible, thanks to the excellent team of in-house catering staff who provide a range of nutritional meal choices on a daily basis”.
This rating gives parents/carers the confidence that their children are having school lunches that are hygienically handled, prepared and cooked to very high standards including preparation, cooking, re-heating, cooling and storage.
We are currently in the process of recruiting a new catering manager to the school. Anyone who would like to visit our excellent kitchen facilities to discuss this role is very welcome to do so.
