Can I thank everyone who took the time to come to Neville Parade Community Centre last Saturday, firstly to the amazing June and Val, this rescue would have to close if I didn’t have them helping me and I would have to do weekly car boot sales which is impossible not only because of my hip replacement surgery but the amount of hedgehogs I am currently overwintering. Thank you also goes to Trevor D for his very kind donation, so sorry I missed you, will you please try and get in touch? Also Hazel, Lori, Joyce and Jackie, the list is endless.
I am also doing a raffle, the raffle tickets are on sale in Grannies Choice and Jorgias Attic, these are places I visit regularly I am glad to say, thank you everyone, also to those of you who support me by selling tickets and purchasing tickets because all monies raised go to our prickly friends for things like food, medical supplies and nice bedding and a warm home. None of this money is mine, it is theirs and theirs alone, I always make sure they’re well looked after. Also this is a raffle with a difference, winners can choose their own prize, Daniel from the Olive Garden, Johnny and staff at McDonalds, Matt at Sainsbury’s Cobblers Hall have all contributed and more to come. The raffle will be drawn the first week in April.
Hedgehogs are still hibernating, please refrain from tidying your gardens as there may be hedgehogs sleeping there. All hedgehogs here are doing quite well, two are on diets, two are still having treatment alongside Holly, bless Holly she has liver fluke, my thanks to Dawn of A Prickly Problem for her assistance and advice and also Angela and staff of Grange Vets for obtaining the correct antibiotic for little Holly.
Above are a small selection of prizes on offer. If anyone would like a raffle ticket and can’t get to me please get in touch.
