Could I, through the Newton News, put out a big thank you to those who have supported Avon Court throughout the year, donations, attending our Summer Fete and Christmas Markets.
The thank you of the season goes to Aldi for helping provide the ‘Home Alone’ Christmas dinner at Avon Court.
Last year was my first year as manager and I did notice that some tenants did not go anywhere at Christmas. I decided this year would be different, those who would not be going anywhere at Christmas would have a meal on Christmas Eve.
My husband and I will be on site on Christmas Eve cooking for those who are alone.
A big Avon Court thank you to Melissa and her team at Aldi Newton Aycliffe for their very generous help.
