Dear Sir, At about 4pm on Monday 14th December, as the Town Centre was growing dark, teenagers on bikes were circling around on the precinct. They were using foul language, throwing dirt and threatening passers-by. One of these louts bumped into me. He clearly couldn’t have cared less. An adult male, experiencing their anti-social behaviour and taunted by these miscreants, had to restrain himself and walk away. We must stop accepting this hooliganism before someone’s Gran, Grandad, Mam, Dad or child is seriously injured by their lawless, dangerous behaviour. In my experience this is not a one-off occurrence on the Town-Centre. The ‘powers that be’ need to ensure that serious consequences deter this feral activity so we can reclaim our Town Centre for the benefit of businesses and residents alike. Name and address supplied
