Shildon Community Bus provides regular shopping trips for people living in Shildon and Newton Aycliffe. The destination is the shopping area at Tindale Crescent, West Auckland where the larger supermarkets are situated.
These trips are very popular as passengers are picked up at their door and safely delivered back with their shopping. Phone the office for more details.
We also provide buses and volunteer drivers for local groups and associations, so that they can enjoy outings and activities. Our increasing popularity means that we need more volunteer drivers.
You will be trained and inducted so that you are confident in your role. If you are aged over 21 years and hold a full driving licence we would like to hear from you.
