A career launch tea party for third year midwifery students, qualifying in 2023, is being held in Bishop Auckland.
The event on Wednesday 15 March is on from 11am until 3pm and is open to all third year midwifery students who will be qualifying this year.
Lucy Taylor, Lead Midwife for Placement, Education and Workforce at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are thrilled to host this special career launch tea party and get to know student midwives who will be qualifying this year and to celebrate them!
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to come and meet our specialist midwife practice development team to discuss the exciting opportunities for new midwives here at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust.
“We will also be able to answer any questions you may have about being a newly qualified midwife and be able to support your application process for newly qualified midwife vacancies. We are looking forward to welcoming you all.”
During the event there will be opportunities to learn more about the maternity services provided at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, different roles and career development as well as support available to complete current job applications.
