Four representatives from Aycliffe GKR took part in the Northern Zone qualifiers for the Championships which will be held in Sheffield in November.
A great day was had by all with 8 medals gained in their respective catergories. If anyone is interested in joining our club we run classes at Greenfield School on a Thursday at 6:30pm till 8pm and a Saturday morning from 10:30am till 12pm.
The medal winners were:
Sensei Dez Tinkler: 1 Silver for Team Kumite
Annalise Tinkler: 2 Silver for Team Kata and Team Kumite, 1 Bronze Kata and also qualfied for Kumite.
Nathan Lovejoy: 1 Gold for Kumite, 2 Silver for Kata and Team Kumite. Jada Holden: 1 Silver for Kumite
