Pupils from all primary schools in Newton Aycliffe were invited to be part of the exciting holiday programme at Woodham Academy during the Summer holidays. The Academy has teamed up with Education Enterprise to offer specialist sports coaching to children aged 4-12 years. We have now had over 300 different children take part in the programmes which focus on transition from primary to secondary, whilst also promoting healthy lifestyles, keeping children active whilst enjoying sport and physical activity.
