Sugar Hill Primary School received a surprise visit last week from Mandeville, the Paralympic Mascot. Talking to the children in a specially-arranged assembly in the school hall, Mandeville’s helper explained the role the mascot held in promoting the events at the Paralympics.
The whole school attended the assembly and afterwards took part in a question and answer session. At the end of an excellent afternoon, some of the children had the opportunity to have their photograph taken with Mandeville.
