Due to the closure of Woodham Golf & Country Club restaurant the Town Council has had no choice but to consider other venues for our Mayor’s Charity Civic Dinner and this year we have chosen Redworth Hall as our preferred venue.
Redworth Hall is one of the Northeast premier hotels and has hosted, amongst others, the England Football team and if it’s good enough for our boys then it’s good enough for our residents.
The event will take place on Friday 24th March from 6.30pm to midnight and tickets are now on sale from the Council Offices via the Mayor’s Secretary, Sharna Stretch, Tel: 01325 300700. Tickets are priced at £40 per person. This is a fantastic opportunity for the ladies to don those fancy frocks hidden away in the back of wardrobes and for gentlemen to show off their attire. The menu for the event is three course and comprises of:

Chicken Breast, Creamy Mashed Potato, Chicken Jus or

Apple & Rhubarb Crumble, Crème Anglaise or
Chocolate Tart
served with a Coconut Ice Cream
Tea / Coffee
Dress Code: Evening Dresses / Cocktail Dresses, Dinner Jackets / Lounge Suits with entertainment, raffle, disco, dancing. Funds raised from this event will be donated to the Mayor’s chosen charities Together 21 and Wishing Well Club.
