New Friends, New Places (registered charity) Travel Activities and Friendship Group meet every Tuesday at The Navy Club, Burnhill Way, Newton Aycliffe from 1.30pm until 4.30pm. We play pool, darts, curling etc., we also have decided to extend our group to cover weekend/weekday visits to many places around the UK and revisit Amsterdam, Bruges, Germany, France – places that we have visited since we formed our group in 2008. The age group is mostly over 55 years and we have several couples who have joined us who socialise well with the ladies of our group. We have just returned from a weekend visit to Blackpool at our favoured hotel, which we have visited three times a year for the past six years.
