On Tuesday the 27nd and Wednesday the 28rd of August the Durham Tigers will be hosting a two day rugby league training camp with the Bradford Bull’s at Shildon’s Sunnydale Leisure Centre. After a very successful camp this February the Super League club has agreed to come back to the town and host another two day event. Tickets will cost £10 per day ad can be bought by calling The Tiger on 07432649513 or alternatively you could turn up to one of their training sessions at Sunnydale leisure centre on either: Tuesday evening when they have training for their open age (16+) and Under 15’s teams from 6:30pm or Saturday when they train all their teams train from 10:30am.
This will be the fourth time that the Tigers have hosted Bradford Bulls coaches at Sunnydale, Club Secretary Phil Selby said “Following three highly successful previous courses we are very pleased that the Bulls have agreed to come back to Shildon again because we are determined to give local kids the best training and opportunities possible, so that if they have an interest in rugby and would like to pursue it further this would be a great opportunity for them to progress. The Bulls are always looking for new players that have the potential to play professionally and as the UK is hosting this year’s Rugby League World Cup they are looking to use this as a way to get more kids into rugby. It’s a great opportunity.”
