Last week saw the GAMP AAP funded Creative Routes film making project launch at Woodham Community Technology College with a three day film making residency for young people. This week we hosted another 3 day residency at Greenfield. Fifteen young people aged 11 and up worked with a local drama facilitator and film maker to create their own film.

They developed the idea, wrote a script and storyboarded the scenes, then filmed it. The young people have worked very hard and been very creative and we are looking forward to seeing the results of their activity at Newton Aycliffe’s first film festival in November 2012 – well done to everyone involved!
