On 2nd August some members joined Sedgefield WI to listen to a talk by our MP, Paul Howell, on ‘How Parliament Works’
On the 9th August we had a delicious afternoon tea at The King’s Hotel in Darlington, where no calories were spared!
On 19th August, Members of Aycliffe Village WI and friends were invited to the BBC recording of Songs of Praise at St Mary’s Church in Scarborough. A great time and experience for everyone, accompanied by the obligatory meal of fish and chips.
