Last Thursday evening Debbie Iceton, the founder of Five Acres, was invited to the Hall Garth Hotel for a very special event ‘Celebrating Women in Business Awards’ (County Durham & Darlington) in conjunction with Darlington Business Club, County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust Charity and The Hall Garth Hotel.
Debbie had been nominated for ‘Impact in the Community’ category – sponsored by High Life North, along with Sarah Rose, Skerne Park Community Partnership and Catherine Evans, The Cornforth Partnership, who were also nominated.
Despite the competition, the category came up and we are delighted to inform you all that she won, Sue Jacques, the CEO of Darlington NHS Trust, presented the award. Debbie would like give a huge thank you to everyone who was involved in delivering such a wonderful event.

Debbie said, “This award is not for me, it’s for Five Acres and what it represents, giving our Champions opportunities and alternative experiences to help them flourish in life – that’s our aim.”
