Greenfield Arts are thrilled to have been a major part of the Cornish Centenary celebrations and have offered a programme of creative events and activities engaging the community to be inspired by the artist’s life and work.

As a response to the exhibition our men’s Cree group and students from Greenfield Community College have been working towards a mini exhibition exploring the social context of his work. Working alongside spoken work artist Tony Gadd and visual artist Richard Bliss, the groups have brought together an intimate collection of inspirational artwork.

There will be a celebration event, ‘Inspired by Cornish’, on Monday 16 December 2019 from 13:30 to 15:00 and the exhibition will run until Friday 20 December 2019. The Greenfield Gallery is open from 10:00 – 21:00 on Monday to Thursday and from 10:00 – 16:00 on Fridays.
