We are delighted to announce that Maguires Country Parks have agreed their support as brand sponsor for our first ever Charity Ball which is being held at Hardwick Hall Hotel on 17 November 2017. The event will raise funds for the MRI Scanner Appeal for Darlington Memorial and Bishop Auckland Hospitals.
Pat Chambers, Charity Development Manager said ‘I was fortunate to meet with Billy Maguire at Hurworth Country Show and delighted when he offered us a weekend break at one of his six country parks as an auction prize for the MRI Scanner Appeal. Billy asked for a few more details about the Charity Ball itself, which I shared, then he volunteered to sponsor the event itself – I was overwhelmed with his generosity and support for the MRI Scanner  appeal.’
Maguires Country Parks is a family run business. Billy Maguire Senior purchased the first country park at Low Carrs, County Durham in 1981. The park at Ord House followed in 2003, with Newbus Grange in 2004, Swainby in 2008 and Forget Me Not in 2013, with the latest investment at The Kaims Bamburgh in 2017.
The family aim is to create beautiful, peaceful and relaxing Country Parks that appeal to people who are looking for a relaxing time, time to chill with a glass of wine, a book and a barbeque at fabulous locations throughout the North East.
Billy Maguire Senior said “Maguires Country Parks are very pleased to be able to support this special event to raise money for such an important piece of equipment. As a North East family business we believe that people in this region should have access to the best, most up to date equipment possible, to help them during what is a difficult time in their lives.”
Pat continued “When you’re organising your first event you want to create the very best first impression and I’m delighted that we’ve achieved that through the generous support from Maguires Country Parks.
We still have some limited tickets available for  this fabulous event, so if you would like to join us as we raise funds for the MRI Scanner Appeal please give me a call on 07770455651 or email me at pat.chambers1@nhs.net
