Last week was the annual Greenfield Arts Summer Trip – this year we went to Preston Park Museum and Grounds in Stockton-on-Tees. It was the perfect day for a trip, the sun was shining and our group of families were excited for the short journey.
During the trip the group explored the museum, including the award-winning Victorian Street, seeing blacksmiths, a sweet shop and more! A picnic in the park filled up lunch time, followed by an afternoon enjoying the outdoor areas, including a giant slide and jungle gym.
Some of the families took the opportunity to visit Butterfly World, which is also on the grounds, seeing some fantastical and colourful butterflies!
Greenfield Arts are pleased to offer families from Aycliffe this opportunity as part of our Summer programme, and look forward to next year!
