Dear Sir,
The winds of change have been blowing across the United Kingdom and on Thursday 1st May 2025 they arrived in Newton Aycliffe, which played its part in securing Reform UK outright control of Durham County Council.
Winning four out of the five seats available, all candidates were able to achieve impressive results, well supported by their local Reform Branch Chairman Joe Quinn, Election Agent Ethan Pugh, and local volunteer leafleteers.
In Aycliffe North & Middridge, Tim McGuinness was narrowly beaten to secure second place and Clive Taylor-Scholl missed out, but polled extremely well.
While in Aycliffe South, John Grant, Nicole Brown and Andrew Eales carried all before them, making a clean sweep.
From a personal point of view, although I could not vote in the ward because I live in Aycliffe North & Middridge, I would like to thank everyone that voted Reform UK, with special thanks to volunteers Anne, Jane, John, Neil, Chris and Tim McGuinness, who all leafletted for me.
I would also like to close by stating that I intend to represent everyone in the ward and not just the people who voted for me, based upon sound Reform UK principles and common sense.
If you would like to learn more about Reform UK and help us Make Britain Great Again and build a country that works for everyone and not just an entitled London elite, then come and join us at Reform UK.
Andrew Eales
Durham County Councillor
Newton Aycliffe South.
Thank You From Reform UK
