Newton Aycliffe Junior Football Club
On Thursday 19th July 2012 Newton Aycliffe Junior Football Club drew there Summer Raffle with the help of the young team players. On the evening the Club had 5 teams all training and playing matches at Woodham Community Technology College, which made this a perfect evening for the raffle to be drawn with the help of the players.
The club had a number of fantastic prizes donated by local businesses. A spokesperson from the Club stated “We are overwhelmed by the support we have been given from local business within the surrounding area for our raffle and we cannot thank everyone enough.”
The club had secured 25 Raffle prizes and the first five tickets drawn out won the top prizes:-
1st Prize – Packard Bell Easynote (donated by Tesco), ticket number 891 – J Pasinage.
2nd Prize – Golf 2 Ball Round (donated by Woodham Golf & Country Club), ticket number 682 – P Cayless.
3rd Prize – 6 week Health & Leisure Club Membership (donated by Redworth Health and Leisure Club), ticket number 351 – L Jordinson.
4th Prize – MOT Test (donated by Shafto Way Garage), ticket number 220 – D Surtees.
5th Prize – £60 Make Over Voucher (donated by Stephen Russell), ticket number 814 – David Barker.
The Raffle has raised exactly £700.00 for the club which will be used to purchase new equipment for the teams.
