On Tuesday evening, 20th February, presenters Phill Hawkins and Andy Hill were invited to be guest speakers at Rotary Newton Aycliffe to talk about their time at Aycliffe
Radio and the work they do to promote the individuals, groups and organisations who do such a fantastic job supporting people of all ages in our community.
It was a pleasure to meet the members of the group and discuss the various ways in which the Around Town show could be used as a platform to raise awareness of the Rotary Club and the great work they do, and the possibility of the Around Town show being involved with future projects either in a hands on capacity, or simply promoting future events on the show, when it’s appropriate to do so.
