Knitting needles at the ready – the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP)’s staff, volunteers and befriending group have joined forces to knit squares of support.
Following a campaign from Shildon Town Council and Shildon Alive, the knitted squares have been put together to create blankets for those who need them this winter.
Sandra Roberts, Governance and Development Manager at PCP, said: “It’s been fantastic to see our staff, volunteers and befriending group come together to support people in our community with a gesture of kindness.
“The campaign is ongoing, so there’s still time to grab a pair of knitting needles and try your hand at knitting squares of support.”
